- I spent 25+ years in a UK bank and 10 as a management consultant; does this make me an unusual participant in MIX? However, for me MIX is about people, how they inspire and are inspired, how we collaborate for the long-term future benefit of humanity and our planet.
- I like pottering in my garden growing vegetables. I like being indoors, listening to music, wandering the web finding great places like this. I love travelling to the US to see its amazing geography - Yosemite and Death Valley blow me away.
- Each day I remind myself of what I was told about my Dad. He was a senior police officer in Liverpool. Shortly after his death, I was dealing with another senior office in a city near Liverpool. He had been trained by Dad and served with him as a subordinate officer. "He was the best f***ing bastard I ever worked for!" was the officer's epitaph for Dad. I hope I can achieve the same amazing impact with those people I work with.
