Dear Friends and Colleagues
I would like to share with you MY INNOVA-LIFE CHALLENGE taking the innovation tools and best practice that I've known so far and carrying these to my professional and personal life.
I believe that with little of innovation knowledge that we can have the important thing is to transcend in the personal and professional life. I have tried to innovate my job, sports and generate and share knowledge in my region Latin America.
What Am I doing to make innovation an everyday?
My Job: Deploy Innovation tools throughout the organization / Develop clear definitions and metrics for innovation
After to work for 12 years in manufacturing processes in multinationals companies, I am sure that innovation and operational excellence are not fought, like much thinkers indicated. Rather, these make synergy working together, this is Lean Innovation. The lean processes support the efficiency and productivity, and innovation management comes to catching the “best ideas” of lean people designed to meet a need or solve a problem of customers and stakeholders. Nowadays, we are walking towards Lean Service and I am looking for Innofacturing, the Real Innovation in Manufacturing.
My Sport: Deploy Innovation tools throughout the life
I like to run since I was a child. But, in 2009, I had took the innovation tools to make my first marathon, but did not choose any marathon, I looked the best in the world, of course, NYC Marathon! Prepare for a marathon also requires a strategy, new ideas, perseverance and effort. The question is: What could a marathon training teach us about innovation? I am sharing on Innovathons.
In 2010, I made the Boston Marathon, and nowadays I am training for Chicago Marathon in 2013.
My Responsibility: Build a foundation of distinct widely shared innovation insights that is accessible by people in Latin America
I have a responsibility and challenge to my region LatAm to Share Innovations Insights and the best practices of successful companies. I am convinced that in this part of world there are people and companies with a lot of talent to innovate.
In this year I was in search of innovation organizations from 20 countries for Join Innovation in the "Latin American Decade", in this manner, I meet a lot of professionals who are working in the deployment and implementation of innovation.
From this, I am columnist of innovation web pages such us: PDMA Mexico, Innovación en Chile, Ruta N Colombia, Innovadores Ecuador and next in Materia Biz Argentina. My responsibility and challenge continue to build a foundation of shared innovation insights.
I'm happy to apply innovation in various parts of my personal and professional life. Surely schedule a biggest challenge for this new year 2013.
