Enterpreneur of the first generation- self made man. Long time succesful in operational path of his business. But for 20 years he has been building operations on the organizational path of fear, autocracy and blind "KPIsing". Me, Interim manager with the other two entered them when operations lost quality and efficiency in September 2013. In a first week people avoided eye contact. In a four weeks we laddered down to small groups that told us the root causes. Nobody asked them before. It was enough to stop shouting, and to start listening. We failed and been ousted when we told to the owner the real "pre-natal" root cause was he himself.
