Me in Three
I've spent a lot of time as a systems analyst and then CEO of a Market Research organization (Techtel Corporation) and finally recognized that much of this work is wasted since the client organizations appears to fight actually making any improvements. So I decided to find out how to really make a difference in organizations, study what works, what doesn't and what must be changed to make our organizations work. Now I want to solve the big problems with the approach we have developed. I call it ETC and we look for applications for it everywhere. This is one.
I love getting into many sources providing more insights into what managers and executives and customers are thinking, and then making sense of it in the light of systems thinking and creating a picture to make it clearer and more useful and systematic to those who run the organization.
I'm of a scientific turn of mind, but know that the average manager is under too much pressure to learn a lot of science, yet needs to better handle and manage in situations of high complexity. I love to hear people say: I get it! and this makes so much sense! Then go do it with great success.
