Me in Three
I am a associated Director of research at Copenhagen Institute for future studies.
Author of Rock 'n' roll leadership - What managers need to know about how rock bands work. Publish in Scandinavia (2010) - (US adaptation in 2012)
My journey has gone from socialist to musician to psychologist to consultant to future researcher to writing books and engaging in international speaks about futures styles of leaderhip.
“First and foremost, what drives me – maybe more than it should – is a personal fascination, a professional ignorance, an optimistic disposition and a sense that
social injustice should be corrected. My exploration of life in society and companies is about creating radically new and alternative paths to reach known and unknown goals. Therefore, the experiment has a totally central place in my work. Rock’n’roll leadership started as an experiment, too, and like all good experiments, it took on its own life and expression outside the lab.
I often find myself inspired by David Epstons book "Playful approach to serious problems" - narratively. Playfulness makes the organizational problems loose weight.
