I am a serial entrepreneur who has a passion to think outside the box and execute on a vision. I like the road less traveled - meaning the riskier path. I have worked since a young boy on my Dad's ranch, then with my grandfather in his general store while running my own paper rout. I grew up a Lockheed as an engineer, mathematician, program manager, director of R&D, and head of new ventures. I have founded 5 companies, all reached revenue state and 4 were profitable. My largest vendor was Micromodules Systems which grew to $46M in 5 years. I am currently the CEO of CollabWorks and we are all about optimizing work. We invented the vision of next generation Cloud - People Cloud. We have developed a powerful process for managing all work as a service.
While my hair is gray and my wrinkles are growing, my passion to create a better world for my children and their children has not diminished. I would rather work on a million to one shot that has huge positive human potential than play it safe and "look" successful. The venture I am working is using nature market forces to reshape global economics so that both the present and the future benefit. Our million to one shot now has a 1 in 10 shot of success. Win or lose, it is the journey worth taking.
I have spent much energy rolling the rock uphill. Then I discovered that it is a lot more fun to roll the rock downhill. Up or down is a matter of view. My Don Juan-like favorite reminder is "what matters, matters not".
