It’s easy to get caught up in what we think needs to be done, today, and always putting future projects on the back burner. When we do this, though, we typically never get to those projects.
There is overwhelming agreement among leaders that team members should receive performance feedback real-time, as opposed to just during annual or even quarterly reviews.
No one likes annual performance reviews. Managers hate doing them and employees hate getting them. Instead of wasting time on this, I suggest totally eliminating the annual perforance review.
