Agile Leadership for managing turbulence

The bureaucracies of the 20th century and the scientific approach to organizations tended to prize hierarchy, specialization, efficiency and standardization. As the pace of global technological and social change accelerated, Taylorist organizations and Weberian bureaucracies struggle to keep up. This also led to the well known slogan of CEO and executives that it is lonely at the top. This should not be if more companies adopt Agile Leadership practices and except the challenges faced by the next decade.
