Hack:
Web 2.0 a Virus, has become Lytic and created a mutated genious. The mutant, Assembly Line 2.0
Management 1.0 is to the Assembly line as Management 2.0 is to X. A simple version of algebra here. Regardless, this is an excellent way of strategizing the solution to this contest.
When management was, in a sense, created it used the problematic 1.0 definition we are all aware of. The theoretical definition of management lead to the great minds of the time to develop organizations that would follow 1.0's guidelines. Humans were seen to be the most efficient if seen as robots and placed in a bureaucratic state. Dissenters were shunned and the high power were Gods and the only ones with the potential of great ideas and delegation prowess.
A revolution, one that is sung around the globe with emotions of pride, glory, and righteousness. A revolution, that was need because dissenters and diversity was shunned. The creative and the minorities were stuck and suppressed by high power. This revolution. . . . The American Revolution.
The Declaration of Independence metamorphically defines this Management 2.0 Contest. Management 1.0 can be an analogy of the oppressor and governing bodies that placed social shackles on the colonists. Everywhere we go, everywhere Management 1.0 is structured is Taxation Without Representation! Web 2.0 is represented by the honorific individuals that are the founding fathers of the United States of America.
And I, well let's just say I am Thomas Jefferson.
Management 1.0 is to the Assembly Line as Management 2.0 is to a management structure named "Rob and Big."Using Web 2.0's capabilities, everything that management stands for can be utilized and effectively structured in the sense the MIX is striving for. EVERYTHING. Web 2.0, social media, blogging, facebook etc. . . . it is not new like Gary Hamel states. It is OLD. It is all I know. It is one part of the definition of my life story. Why? Because I am part of the youth of America. I am a 22 year old, social, business orientated, natural Leader. Remember when all you old folks were young, and the old folks of then discredited your knowledge. Discredited your revolutionary ideas. You were all hippies. Remember? What are you now? My idols. Driving forces of the economy. Business gurus of the world. And yet, you still don't get it. How do I know? Who am I to be so bold as to speak as such? Well, you can meet me. Or you can open your eyes. I am an executive assistant and Director of Outside Sales among other positions within the company. . . . Alternative Green Technology llc. I am working on my Bachelor's in Business Management with the University of Phoenix. They are already down the road of Management 2.0. The college chair and business seminars all recognize my potential. My boss is also Alumni of the University. Create a virtual/ e commerce office space. This includes the use of communication provided by things such as skype or googe talk. Utilize the servers. Utilize the collaboration tools and servers, such as sky mail from hotmail. Utilize blogs for a pool of rich and unlimited ideas. Utilize things like facebook for lifting the corporate veil and remove this ridiculous bureaucratic statePositions and bosses are still important. Be a boss like Rob Dyrdek, in Rob and Big. Be a mentor to the youth of the company that have excellent abilities. . . .like my boss is to me. Create a hiring process that emphasizes teamwork ability, collaboration prowess, relative abilities. But most of all this hiring process need be done through a server that any member can search for the individual they see fit to benefit the corporation. <>Everyone has a chance. Their time to shine is no longer impossible. It is infinite. A virtual office will expose everyone, every idea and everything. The responsibilities and job description will be more of a guideline. Web 2.0 allows for any individual to tackle a problem or corporate goal. Delegation by choice. Delegation accepted as a chance to shine. Accepted becaues it is no longer reserved for high power. If you can bring it to the table lets see it. This isn't just work at home. It is bringing together every possible tool, advantage, and innovation of the web and making an assembly line. A mutated assembly line. The web is a virus. It mutated the Assembly line. Now the viral Web 2.0 has spawned Assembly line 2.0</div>
The virtual office creates the entire use of the web. Every aspect of the office and corporate organization will be covered because this is how technology works. We place it as the means as a solution. And the development and technological gurus solve the solution. They will write programs to develop this virtual office space. Look at University of Phoenix and their online classroom.
This is not new. Just because you don't understand something or know it does not mean it is new or scary. Relax, breathe, let go. No need for power tripping. No reason to hide what you know. I have the internet to find out.
Web 2.0 can mean Either I will find a way, or I will make one.
The saying, " what was your question? O the internet has the answer."
Look for people like me to mentor under the heads of organizations or departments. Notice how tech saavy your children are? 3 year olds with cell phones and downloading apps and playing angry birds. Well they can do that. They know that. It is not new, nor awe inspiring technology. It just is. The 3 year old is like how I am with Web 2.0 and Management 2.0.
