Me in Three
- Fine tuning the BS detector (and that includes what comes out of my own mouth).
I like to observe, the eyes, the body language the words - how we interact peoples reactions.
I like to listen, the words sounds good but what is really being said. Is there a point, what is the value in it and what can I learn.
- I believe we are mainly afraid of what is different and we must challenge this daily, in how we recruit, how we form opinions and work on being open to the different in business, I am not talking about a focus on physical differences - mental ones - it is about accepting different types of communicators, approaches and thought processes. In corporate it is too easy to comply to the norm.
- I favour contrasts from luxury to roughing it camping, from fine dining to junk food, from high brow intellectual debates to cartoons and paint by numbers.
