I have a passion for helping others understand the nature of organisations as collections of people, not blocks of business, and to understand the importance of properly defining the real shared values that help create organised groups that include customers/clients.
I have been profoundly influenced by my contact with Indigenous Australians who have taught me that thinking there is one right answer, thinking I know all the answers, and thinking within preconceptions are all ridiculous notions, and that labels in any form are dangerous. This also led to The Leader's Beacon: The 55-minute guide to Leadership Communication which creates a framework suitable for all styles and cultures of leadership.
I am passionate about tea (yes the drink in its many wonderful forms); sport, including the lessons from sport that should be applied elsewhere, especially in business; reading, though mainly the guilty pleasure of fiction; and music in many, many forms.
