Me in Three
I've spent most of my adult life doing strategic planning work for retailers.
I would rather create than consume. For example, I'd rather write a book than read a book; I'd rather write my own music than listen to someone else's music; I'd rather create my own theoretical construct to solve a problem than to use one developed by someone else. That is why Disney World seems so backwards to me. To me, the real fun was had by the imagineers who designed the place (and they got paid to do it). The boring part to me is the people who come and only get to see the fun had by the imagineers (and they have to pay to do it).
I believe that much of the grief in the world is a result of labeling things as "good" or "bad" too quickly. Most stuff is just stuff (not inherently good or bad). We just need to deal with it.
