- I have a weird passion for modeling companies, like kids disassembling toys and clocks to understand how they work. I travel the world and cross industry practices as a consultant and I'm always amazed when I find that food and perfumes are created very differently, but spices and electrical components are very similar. I had the great chance to meet Alta Via Consulting (www.altavia.com), a niche consulting company that is pushing the boundaries of management accounting to help companies achieve a better use of their resources. Our team of experts bridges business modelling and information technology in order to architect, implement, and support information systems.
- I believe that in order to learn more, you also need to teach.I have applied this philosophy to sailing (coach and manager of a sailing school near Paris, France), scuba diving (instructor) and underwater hockey (coach). All of this despite my tendency for sea-sickness ... I am most proud of the fact that the underwater hockey team I started in Cagnes-sur-Mer, France is still going strong despite my moving to the US. We started from scratch and they are now playing at national level. Go Moana!
- I know that it takes time to accomplish great endeavors and have an impact on people and organizations. In my role, I just became a mentor for 10 colleagues and I am looking forwarding to inspiring them to step back from their daily routine and raise the bar to accomplish higher challenges.
