Me in Three
- I am an independent management consultant, analyst and owner of Xpragma. I founded Xpragma in 1999 after a 20+ year’s career in the IT industry. My current interests focus on the intersection of technological evolution, organisational change and business strategy: a messy world of unfulfilled promises.
- I have an engineering background, so I want to understand how the things fit together, why obvious approaches often fail and why apparently unrelated interactions sometimes produce unexpected results. It makes that I’m often a contrarian, a dissenter of the generally accepted and of course, a fan of Russell Ackoff.
- This interest for the interconnectedness extends in my private interests that are philosophy, cosmology and nature. Especially the latter is reasonably easy to understand and can learn us a lot, but unfortunately, is often abused in management literature as the false proof for the wrong concept. We should know better.
