Me in Three
I like to develop potential in products, people, and ideas. I have a background in management & technology. I make connections and synthesize disparate information well. Finishing things is much less exciting than working through a good challenge. There are a lot of huge challenges we face in the world which has driven anxiety and reduced empathy. This has not helped us collectively make progress. I like to help organizations enable empathy and help solve some of the big hairy issues - decreasing competitiveness, a school system designed too long ago, the feeling that work is 'forced' on us rather than something we proactively crave, obesity... I strongly suspect all of these things are related.
I'm fascinated by people, relationships and social dynamics. I love watching how people interact and what makes relationships functional or disfunctional. I beleive people are as happy and successful as the community that sourounds them. To enable individuals' potential, we need to create thriving communities.
I'll try anything once... except some foods.
