After spending 20-years fulfilling my childhood dream of a career in professional baseball I realized that most of the challenges I faced as a leader of organizations stemmed from poor communication in the workplace. For that reason I’ve dedicated the rest of my professional life transforming leadership and workplace communication!
After 8 years of working with small to medium sized businesses to help transform how company leaders and employees communicated I defined the 7 deadliest sins of leadership and workplace communication. My passion is to speak to audiences to explain specifically how leadership communication is undermining performance in the workplace.
I also believe the concept of "teamwork" is a myth because true teamwork never fails, and it is individuals that fail teamwork, every time! A client recently gave me the perfect definition of teamwork that I now use in my workshops, "teamwork is a series of interdependent successful efforts."
