Many online sites like Ebay, Amazon, and Slashdot have reputational capital systems that make it clear who the top contributors are in the community. These systems can recognize people for simply making contributions, for how useful their contributions are, or even for how well they build off of the ideas of others. A reputational capital system on the MIX might provide “credentials” that community members could use to validate their own business or innovation efforts.
Agreed. It's helpful to see who is actively involved and who is not.
