Hack:
Education for empowerment not entitlement
connecting start-ups with "hey I need these skills and qualities" please help me make a great company for fun seems so simple but it's capital and network (as in who do you know) that inhibits good ideas from being used.
Who would help? Bill Gates & google maybe? lol... yeah... that's funny to think of.

Find synergies in the private sector and partner with them. Distribute business modules on cd with workbooks with simple concepts such as basic accounting, branding, customer service in various languages. Banks like chase ( ref their push into small business territory with chase ink card) can pay, perhaps go through a non-profit for tax-deductibility, they'll be able to cross-sell their products and services. Use ethnic media and grocery stores, schools their children attend, and community based org's and other places they frequent as easy distribution channels. Problem I see is if the banks have the capacity to service and overcome language barriers. It won't upset the education establishment bc these people more often then not wouldn't attend college anyway. Easiest would be partnering with large chain grocery stores.

Other players: the Kauffman foundation And other foundations who seek to serve immigrants, business development.
Legislative leaders who want to be seen as 'empowerment and not hand out" people (teach a person to fish)

I was actually going to try to make money off thus idea but CDs should not be free buy this should be revenue positive as to make sure it is sustainable. Of course blantAnt advertising and branding will accompany all educational materials as well as an appeal to first consider the sponsors in buying but that's a small price to pay. And let the material be returnable and a very strong " remember do No evil and work for good always. having people understand the hopes of this project and the corporate citizenship we expect is paramount to tipping the scales towards good. I welcome critiques. :)

Oh sorry I didn't read my "hack" before I commented.
The question was education and formal education & privilege right.
Challenge the tastemakers to this idea to perpetuate the education for intrinsic value and to help world. Quantify it by having research survey community Colleen students and university education students to see if " college would not get you higher pay would you still pursue it?" and if you had a choice in lower pay or helping others what would you choose. Perhaps disaggregated between financial aide recipients a
D non. And open the national dialogue over, is this right to make my generation feel more entitled? Reference the great book, the greatest generation where it was sacrifice that defined a generation not reality tv

As in entitled to a great job if they have a degree, my research survey proposal hypothesis is between helping others and higher paying job at least 70% would go for higher paying job, number increases with financial aid recepients but that's just a guess.. So it's teachers that have to undermine the thinking that self interest at the expense of other always prevail, google CEO said in a ir video the riding tide lifts all boats, so indoctrinated shod be the notion "dude you Can still make a killing helping people achieve their potential" and "lots of money isn't even all that cool if your soul will go to he'll achieving it" bc with greater transparent the market will allow peoe to
Choose the more noble of firms to ave their money
