Me in Three
I left my employee status in 2006 to commit myself to the promotion of feminine values in the workplace. My real life experience in communication, marketing and as manager of two medium size companies made me understand that socio cultural values, masculine and feminine had great impact on our behaviours. Business is still fundamentally based on a traditional masculine values oriented functionning. It is my conviction that we have to explore and integrate the potential of feminine values such as reciprocity, global vision (systemic), interdependence, coopération, sorority, oblique influencing, the win-win approach. Although it may be true that women may apply these values more naturally than their male counterpart, it is equally true thatt men may apply masculine values more naturally than women. However, both male and female managers now have the choice as to whether to consciously apply cooperative feminine values or more competive masculine values in specific situations.
