- 18 years ago, whilst working for the British Labour Party I invented their rapid rebuttal operation, in the course of which I coined a word which eventually made it into the official English language courtesy of the Oxford English Dictionary - "pre-buttal" (Pronunciation: /priːˈbʌt(ə)l/ - defined by OED as "a response formulated in anticipation of a criticism; a pre-emptive rebuttal")
