I'm an 'organisational architect', building a networked organisation. We are already in 30 countries. We have no traditional employees.
So, I travel a lot. I live half the year in Australia, and half in Italy. It's about 'crafting a life' for ourselves and our affiliates. I'm 69. My son runs the day-to-day business. I focus on 'graceful degradation'--the alternative to retirement!
For example, I mix in little adventures with the work. Last year, sailing from Tahiti to New Zealand. This year an Australian outback tour. Plus advising others staring to buikld thier own networks. See www.n2n2010.com

Groundbreaking ideas and practices from Ken Everett
Think of something you are doing well.Think of a way to do it better. Now think of how to get better at getting better. If you can, you really accelerate innovation.
We started a NO by accident rather than design: we couldn’t afford employees. This turned out to be a fortuitous impediment. It stopped us being traditional.
