Me in Three
- I've worked across a spectrum of innovative organizations in my career, ranging from nonprofits and philanthropy to startups and corporate R&D. I've found that there's a lot in common in how you approach innovation across industries, and the trick is understanding when to leverage your past experience and when to suspend prior assumptions.
- I'm also a big fan of social entrepreneurship. I think as a society we need to create attractive opportunities for young people to create social ventures that will change the world and improve people's lives.
- Absent any strong recommendation, I will always order the most interesting sounding item on a menu. I enjoy using new tech gadgets but I love the craftsmanship of handmade mechanical objects. I always plan ahead for work but try to be as spontaneous as possible on vacation. I have the most fun watching my two young boys try something new for the first time.
